The Volkswagen I.D. Buzz made its global debut at the Geneva Auto Show on March 7. The I.D. Buzz Concept is a modern take on the original Mircobus model first produced in 1950. There’s always something of a love-hate relationship with concept vehicles. On the one hand, you aren’t likely to see a vehicle come out that wasn’t a concept at an auto show at some point, but on the other hand there are plenty of concepts that aren’t ever intended to go into production. The 2016 Paris Motor Show is well underway, which means there’s plenty of things to catch our eyes. What we will say is that all this gesture and touch control technology is pulling somewhat from the bigger picture, which is the expansion of the SUV lineup for our favorite German automaker. The thing about concepts is they reveal a whole lot about what could be.
