A standard method of checking your tire’s tread depth would be by doing the penny test on your tires. To do the penny test, place a penny in the gap of the tread depth and check to see if you can see the entire head of the President or not. Remember to hold the penny upside down, facing you.

If you can see the entire head, you must immediately replace your tires as it indicates that your tires are not maintaining the optimal tire pressure and need to be replaced.

Alternatively, do look out for bulges, cracks, and tears on your tires to indicate tire wear. Check the manufacturing date of your tires and ensure that you change them once in six to ten years. You will find the manufacturing date of your tires embossed on the side of the tire.
